It's a sad day. Otis was our first and only grand-dog! He was a friend and companion to Scott for more than most dogs could ever hope for. He was loved by all who knew him. My best images of Otis are two-fold: (1) When Scott would come home from his small apt. in Knoxville and we would open the back door and watch him race off the deck full speed ahead to his 18-hole backyard playgound. Free sprited and so full of energy and (2) Most recently was when Scott's brother, Don T, sat and sang what he call "The Otis Song" to his best friend, Otis. My tears are real --- he will be missed.

Thanks for adding his beautiful portrait!! Who else would have had an oil portrait of a dog!!

So sad to hear about the passing of Otis. I know you will miss him.
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. He looks like he was a wonderful dog, and I am very sad for you and your family.
