busy, happy days

are my (non-family) readers still here?! sorry I have been so slack on posting.  some more quickie updates...

Clara and Dada have chik-fil-a every week after music class.  she loves her deconstructed grilled chicken sandwich :)
these little curls kill me. so precious.
my mom is including this pic with her Christmas cards. happy girl :)

being sneaky
I love the next two. these were Thanksgiving pics I forgot to include in my Thanksgiving post. so independent in the airport.

Clara has learned how to do SO MUCH in the last couple of weeks:
  • stacking blocks
  • nesting objects
  • putting her cup back in the cupholder in the highchair tray
  • sharing toys with us
  • initiates peek-a-boo
  • waves bye-bye reliably
  • understands how to work (and loves) peek-a-boo books
other randoms:

party-planning is in full-swing for her retro rock-and-roll party in late January.

we got her a nice drum (Remo Kids) and some baby-safe art supplies for Christmas. surprisingly, she hasn't bothered our tree at all.

as soon as I post this, I'm going over to the Breastfeeding page to do an update, so check that out if you're interested.

have a great week!

So does she really eat most of that food? She's doing so much developmentally that's amazing! Parker started clapping this week and is an expert crawler now. It's so interesting how babies develop at SUCH different rates!

wow! She seems like a fantastic eater! I hate the food battles! She is just precious and growing so fast! Loving her being little miss independent! It's precious (along with those cutie curls!)

Lindsay - she probably eats about 3/4 of her sandwich and the pets get the rest (when she drops it). The trick with getting her to eat a lot is just timing. She won't even eat her favorite foods if she's not hungry.

LTB- thanks! the curls kill me :)

I am so proud of your milk stash. I say all the time that if we had to rely on me pumping then it wouldn't work. I don't respond to the pump and normally only get .5-1.5oz at a time so WAY TO GO MOMMA!!!

She has some amazing fine motor skills! And retro bday party!? I cannot wait to see pictures!!!

Wow, stacking! I can't imagine that P will ever do that. The thing with throwing clothes out of the drawers, though, P is all over that!

She is beautiful and so much personality!

Hi Ginger, I haven't been posting much lately either. Love those pics of Clara. She is growing up sooooo fast. Her little curls are sweet. My youngest had those little curls. When she gets sweaty (and her hair is longer than it is now) her curls come back. :-)
